Thank you, Nancy!

Let’s get started!

What’s your work routine like?

As a part-time content writer with a 2-year-old, my day is a mix of writing and parenting. I start early, working before my child wakes up.

Once he’s up, I juggle playtime, feeding, and writing during his naps. Afternoons are for family and errands, with client calls if needed.

In the evening, I get back to writing after he goes to bed. It’s all about balancing work and family, making sure I meet deadlines while enjoying time with my child.

If you could go back in time and advice yourself when you first began this job, what would you say to yourself?

Stay organized and be flexible. Balancing work and a toddler will be challenging, but setting a routine will help. Don’t stress over perfection; focus on progress.

Take breaks to recharge, and don’t hesitate to ask for help when needed. Enjoy the moments with your child, as they grow up fast.

What do you believe is the deeper purpose of content marketing/ digital marketing beyond driving sales?

Beyond driving sales, I believe the deeper purpose of content marketing and digital marketing is to build strong relationships with customers. It’s about creating valuable, engaging content that helps people, answers their questions, and solves their problems.

This builds trust and loyalty, making people more likely to choose your brand in the future. It also helps to create a community around your brand, where customers feel connected and valued.

Your piece of advice for the people interested in your profession

“If you want to be a content writer, here’s my advice: Get ready for lots of coffee and chaos! You’ll have to meet deadlines, sometimes get stuck for ideas, and probably find some snacks in your keyboard. Enjoy the surprises, keep learning new things, and don’t worry too much.

Always save your work in a few places, just in case. And remember, laughing at funny things will help you during late-night writing and when you need to fix things. Have fun writing!
