Let’s get started!

What’s your work routine like?

“My work day begins with catching up with updates on collaterals and getting to the work that awaits me. I edit collaterals compiled by the research team before it is sent to the client.

Scheduling calls with my teammates and managers to discuss strategies for a smoother work flow is another piece of the cake.

Being a part of documenting processes and changes that need to be made gives me a voice of my own and a space to grow. My work brings me joy, a space to learn, a platform to grow and appreciation for what I do. “

If you could go back in time and advice yourself when you first began this job, what would you say to yourself?

Believe in yourself. You’ve got this! Its okay to fall, what’s important is that you get up.

What do you believe is the deeper purpose of content marketing/ digital marketing beyond driving sales?

“I believe its about offering consumers a wide variety to choose from, depending on their interests.

Content marketing/digital marketing focuses on the strength of the company to attract consumers. The same helps consumers choose the best for them.

Its about growth of the company as well as of the community. “

Your piece of advice for the people interested in your profession

“Being an editor is about learning new intricacies in the language and being open to suggestions. Everyday is a lesson as long as you choose to learn and better yourself.

Editing isn’t just about sticking to grammatical rules, it’s also about learning to write the same thing in different ways and knowing what might be the best. Knowing the need of the client, the type of audience and the industry helps decide the tone and structure of the content.

Every editor is different, and that’s where the beauty lies. “
